Description

The Director, Field Service is responsible for leading and guiding Field Services initiatives, goals and sales support objectives across the Company. This position serves a major role providing critical leadership with internal and external relationships, management of departmental projects and overall management of diverse projects Globally. The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and empower a field sales team to achieve a common goal. Direct, manage and guide the FSRs in their daily activities, including the development and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications in collaboration with customers, team members and support staff. Provide high level sales support, to the customer base and end users. Spend time in the field on a regular basis meeting with our FSRs, Customers and OEMs. Translate product strategy, business issues and trends to appropriate recipients. Lead initiatives as set forth by Sr. Leadership to provide world class sales support and service to our external and internal business partners. Develop, train and mentor sales teams in all phases of the business. Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact Work closely with engineering and product management to ensure customer issues are acted upon. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of how the software is used and have the ability to upsell current customers. Desired Skills & Experience 7 10 years of experience leading and managing a field service team. Demonstrated ability in leadership, team building, time management, accountability and problem solving. Ability to champion change. Must be self-motivated, results driven with a strong background in Field Sales Management A successful candidate should be a strategic thinker, self-starter who is creative and driven. The candidate must possess the ability to lead, advise, and advocate for their team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel and meet with FSRs, OEMs and customers. Aviation experience a plus
