TELECOMMUNICATIONS DESIGNER Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering, P.C. (RFS), an 80-person consulting engineering firm located in Laconia, NH and Boston, MA, is seeking a Technology Designer to join our talented and team-focused staff. Positions are available in our NH and MA offices. Position requires BICSI RCDD certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and minimum 5+ years experience in design of technology and low voltage infrastructure solutions inclusive of: * Data * Telephone * Paging/intercom * Access Control * Closed Circuit TV * CATV * Security/Intrusion Detection * Audio-visual * Master Clock Systems * Nurse Call * First Responder BDA Systems * Carrier specific and carrier neutral DAS Desired skills include: * Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office suite * Experience and proficiency with client interactive consultative design * Ability to manage multiple projects from conception through construction * Exceptional time/workload management Knowledge of and familiarity with: * ANSI/EIA/TIA 568-D, 569-D, 606-C, 607-C, 758-B standards * ISO 11801 * NEC * IBC * BICSI TDDM Manual and related publications RFS focuses on large-scale building and infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast.
